Disclaimer: I am NOT bashing this con, simply giving an honest review of how things went and what I personally think could have been done better. Since this was a one day event I figured a review format would fit better. I left out for MoTown Con around 8 AM and started the small 50 minute drive to Moorseville. Getting there and setting up was relatively smooth and uneventful. I finished setting up my table mostly just as they opened the Vendor Hall to attendees at 11 AM. The folks here were super kind, both staff and the attendees. Staff were more than helpful, both before the con and during the con. They were able to answer any and all my questions and helped me when I needed it at the con. (Shout out to the furry staff members, you guys were super chill and I loved chatting at each of you!) Attendees were relatively chatty and pretty interested in my work, though I seemed to have slower/less traffic through my vendor area. (I was table C2) At 11 AM when the hall opened folks were pretty consistent in going through the vendor hall and checking things out. But as with most events it seemed to mostly be browsing to start with before buying anything. By 12 PM I had started to make sales and it was honestly the most traffic I had gotten all day long. The rest of the time spent here was incredibly slow. The vendor hall closed at 6 PM and the entire time from 1 PM till closing the vendor hall remained kind of empty with attendees trickling in every so often. I even had time at one point to head outside and get some really good Italian ice from the mini doughnut/Italian ice food vendor. (100% some of the best Italian Ice I've ever had.) Sales were honestly abysmal and this con definitely takes the cake for the worst event I have ever done profit wise. I just barely made back my table and $15 of profit when the day was over and done. I hadn't expected a lot from a one day event anyway having not really done only a one day event before but this honestly left a sour taste in my mouth as I packed up and headed home. I arrived home around 9 PM, incredibly tired, had some subway, and went to sleep. Overall thoughts: While I didn't get to really experience anything going on at this convention I would say attendees seemed to have had a lot of fun and event wise it seemed pretty well put together despite the venue issue before hand. Staff handled the changes and any blows that came their way pretty well! On the vendor side of things however, I feel as if the event itself had way TOO MANY vendors for such a small event. :(( From what I saw and was told, there were 61 vendors for an event that maybe brought in roughly one thousand people. Due to the sheer amount of vendors some of us barely even made enough to have justified driving to the event and selling. Money was definitely thin for attendees and I can imagine why, especially when they had to look through so many vendors and they could only spend their money at so many places/get around to so many vendors. Advice to MoTown Con Organizers for Future Events: You guys did exceptionally well organizing the event, answering questions, running the event, etc. But this is my advice for other areas of the con that can be improved and personally would have elevated my experience at the event.

Time was very limited when it came to prepping for this event. Mostly because I was also working on prepping for Bewhiskered which will happen in October. I wish I had more time to prepare for this event and make paws and other stuff because I'm positive that had I had more tails, paws and other stuff that I would've done better. Not to say this event wasn't fun or anything but I just wish I had more time to prepare. ;w; We left around 12:30 AM and headed out for the event. This was my first time going to an event so far away and into the beautiful mountains of NC. Asheville was the farthest I had went for into the mountains for a fur con so I won't lie when I say it was a bit spooky heading 3 hours to the mountains in the middle of Nantahala National Forest. ^^; My parents were even worried enough that they armed me with a baseball bat and a little pocket knife. ^^; Around 2AM we stopped at a Shell gas station to fuel back up after having driven on I-40 for what felt like forever. We walked in and chatted with a really nice store clerk lady who noticed my best friend's shirt (It was a Gon and Killua shirt) and chatted with us about Hunter X Hunter and how they felt bad about Kurapika. It was a memorable but small experience that helped make the trip up feel much more fun. ^u^ After fueling up we headed back out and were routed through the ever ominous but pretty Historic Canton and Clyde. I have to say driving through Historic Canton and seeing old timey buildings and then ominous smoke stacks in the background at like 2 or 3AM was definitely a bit spooky. After passing through Canton we made it to Clyde and visibility dropped super fast. The whole area felt like a ghost town and the fog (or smog from Canton??) made it feel like we were heading to Silent Hill. A bit unnerving to say the least. But thankfully this part of the trip didn't last super long and we moved on down I-40 through the last few cities along the way. Slowly we passed through some of the last bits of civilization and further into the mountains. This would've been pretty I'm sure had it not been 3AM. We arrived at Fontana Dam around 4AM checked in and headed up to our room. We were in the Cabana Room No. 117. Really close to the second smaller pool which we sadly didn't have time to check out. :(( I didn't get pictures of the room because I kinda forgot since we were both so dog tired. We woke up around 2PM and headed down to the Wildwood grill to sit down and check our notifications and wait for Dealers Den to open for set up. Dealers Den was in the Oak Suite; Walking down the stone path by the side, down the stairs and to the deck led to the Wildwood Grill restaurant. We just sat down there and chatted for a bit until we were notified that the Den had open and we headed up to set up. Set up took quite a bit as I was given a 8ft table and it was my first time trying to set up an 8ft set up. I was honestly a little caught off guard by how much space I got but I worked with what I was given. After my table was mostly set up we headed down to the Wildwood Grill to grab a bite before we set up my bestie's table. He ordered a margarita pizza and I ordered the chicken tenders. It took quite a bit that day to get our food and we were there eating and chatting until closing time but it was fun! I normally am a bit more awkward about eating in public spaces but I enjoyed doing something different. The food was pretty good as well! The tea was a bit odd and not as sweet as I'm used to but a sugar packet fixed that lol After eating we headed back up and finished setting up bestie's table and finished that around 8 or 9PM. We quickly stopped by Main Events to pick up our badges and then headed back up to the room to finish the last bits of our work for the next day. We worked all night into the morning; Me working on finishing up Blitz the Wolf, mini partial and bestie finishing up all the fursuit bandana's he needed to finish. We both got everything done by 6AM and decided to stay up all day so we didn't sleep past the opening of Dealers den at 10AM. We walked down the weird mulch path to the Oak Suite and finished placing and setting up the last bits of our tables and waited for the Den to open. Both incredibly tired and feeling like death. Friday was super slow and not too many people came through. I mostly just sat there chatting with my bestie on telegram and brain-rotting on our weird furry cinematic universe. In fact it's mostly what I did for a majority of the event since it was a more slow and chill, small kinda con. Due to how slow traffic was through the den I had asked the dealers head, my friend, if me and Katsu (bestie) could leave early due to being so tired from staying up so long. They agreed and we left 2 hours before the den closed to get some food and sleep. We both ordered some chicken tenders and sweet potato fries from the Wildwood Grill. Katsu (bestie) went back up to the room to rest for a bit while I got the food. I probably waited about 30 minutes on food but it was super worth the wait, especially the fries! After a really nice and super long sleep, Saturday was basically a repeat of Friday. It was just as slow and only picked up for a little bit after the main events held that day had ended. Me and Katsu vended the whole day and kept chatting with each other about our characters and other silly stuff. Even after dealers den closed for the day we spent our time brainstorming things for the FCU and talking about story planning stuff for one of our first character pairings in the cabana room. We didn't really spend a lot of time exploring the event or going to panels/ experiencing the con. Sitting in dealers den all day honestly tired us both out quite significantly. We did however go down to the neat little convenience store on Saturday and bought a few things to eat during our dealers lunch break! Sunday followed a similar timeline in Dealers Den as the days prior and was actually the slowest day out of the 3 days. It honestly felt like it dragged on with slow things went. As dealers den and the con came to a close that day we started packing up our tables and stuff to throw into the car. While doing so a few vendors/staff saw that I had pinup prints and were super interested, netting me a few more sales that day while closing up. All the vendors and staff were super nice and even helped up pack and carry things to the car to load up. After loading everything back into the car with my usual Jenga skills we headed to the Wildwood Grill one last time and ordered some cheesy buffalo bites, blue cheese chips, a sandwhich and a wrap. All of these things were super tasty always. We had intended to stay for a bit and chat about things before leaving but we felt a bit sick and decided to leave. Packing the food up in take home boxes and heading to the car, we left the con while still bright out and headed on our way. Going down the mountain was absolutely GORGEOUS during the day and way less spooky. We did stop in Bryson City on the way down to grab a bite to eat at their Mcdonalds. Bryson City was super old looking and honestly looked straight out of the 70's / old country towns in West Virginia. Another hour or so later and we stopped this time in Asheville to get some gas. This was by far the weirdest experience of my life as well. Pulling in at the pump, the pump itself had all sorts of furry stuff and expletives written on it. In the parking lot there were a bunch of high school aged kids in white t-shirts with the chevy logo on it just hanging out and chuckling. Walking inside the gas station to pay, the employee running the register was doing so using an xbox or playstation controller (I'm not sure which) as he rung up the amount for me and turned the pump on. Once again genuinely the most odd stop in the entire trip and definitely memorable lmao
We got home rather late and were honestly, as we are after each con, dog tired and happy to be home! FTO was honestly a super enjoyable event that gave both Katsu and I the chance to just sit and enjoy the mountains/nature around us with little internet, plus enjoy the time spent with each other chatting about our characters and coming up with silly scenarios. This con was honestly fun in that regard. I believe when the weekend was over I made just over $700 USD. Which honestly wasn't too bad for a small con of just 200 attendees. However this con will take the cake for the worst vending experience I've ever had as far as traffic and sales go. (But mainly traffic) After all the expenses to vend at this event and stay there, plus food and taxes, I was in the negatives for FTO. While I enjoyed it for other reasons I most likely will not be returning next year as I cannot justify the price of this con compared to the profit. I thank FTO for having me this year and wish their fun little con lots of luck for the future! ^u^ 💖 I did quite a bit of prep for BRFF before the con but I still sadly wasn't able to get everything made that I wanted to. I knew BRFF would be large this year but boy I was not ready for the turn out we had! As per usual we left at around 12 AM and the drive itself was pretty uneventful. Though when we started getting closer I kept seeing signs for "low visibility" and dang they weren't joking! >->; The road was pitch black in these areas and street lights were far and few in-between. We arrived at the venue around 2 or 3 AM and at first I was a little sketched out because the venue was down a back road beside a sushi place and a Sam's club, and I probably hit a million pot holes coming up the hill but the venue itself was MASSIVE and super pretty! A bit before hand I had one of my table helpers text our roomie Perma and let him know we were on the way. He came down and helped us carry our car jenga mess up to the room. Getting as much stuff as possible onto the little cart thing and then up to the room was hard be we managed. The hardest part was just fitting the cart into the tiny elevator. :/ By the time we finally got everything up to the room it was probably like 4 or 5 AM I believe. I was exhausted so I laid down on the bed watched some Tiktok and chatted for a bit then I conked out. (I unfortunately did not take pictures of the hotel room this time as I was too busy to do so and tired almost every night oof) I woke up later in the day around 2 PM and started getting ready so I could head down, get my badge and set up my table. Before I went down to set up we all chilled on our rooms balcony and I worked on getting pictures of all the badges I had done or the event. (Our Balcony view below lol ) It roughly took 2 hours to do my set up this time around as I ended up changing things a bit before hand. I wasn't sure if my set up was too tall but looking back at it now I can definitely stand to make it taller. Super proud of how my set up turned out though regardless! It as my first time just using the pink grid cubes and for my next con I'll have an even nicer set up. 👀 Once I got my table all set up and ready I headed over to the reg line to pick up my badge. This was probably one of my first and major peeves for the second year of BRFF but the pre-reg line was entirely too long. I found Perma in line and stood with him for probably 45 minutes or more before I was told in the Dealers Telegram chat that a member of Dealers staff like Pinkuh or Fizzle could help me skip the line and get my badge. I was a bit upset finding this out so late but still thankful that I was able to get my badge and go back to the hotel room. I took a quick stop after getting my badge and picked up anything I didn't want left in the Dealers den for the night and brought it back with me to the room. The only good things I got from standing in line was talking to Perma, meeting some new peeps and taking this pretty picture! (As seen below) For pretty much the rest of that day my two table helpers, me and Perma all just chilled in the room, talked and watched some TV. In preparation for my table though I worked for a bit that night to finish up some bappy paws and hand hooves. I brought lots of stuff with me so I could make and work on more paws and things while I was there since I was a bit behind on what I needed. Friday morning came and it was time to sell! I woke up at 8 AM and I was pretty tired. =w= I got ready and got to the Dealers Den a bit early (only by like 20 minutes), got my table ready to sell and sat down. Almost as soon as I had seated myself Dealers Den staff let us know that there was a HUGE line forming outside and people were ready to buy so we needed to be prepared. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated. (My bestie who was in AA let me know before staff as well lmao) Dealers opened and for the rest of the day I was FLOODED. I barely had time to leave my table at all and was mostly stuck there the whole day (not that I minded). I had brought 3 suits with me and on this first day I had someone (Who I later found out was Worm ) come by who wanted to buy Hyperlynx my arcade inspired Lynx. But they had a spending limit and couldn't get the suit until the next day so I agreed to a hold. I never sold Harley the Doberman last year at BWS 2021 so I brought her to BRFF 2022 in the hopes of selling her. I had a lot of people look her this first day and quite a few people were interested! I had told a few people who came by that I had a rabbit fursuit that I was working on and should have for sale at some point during the day and quite a few people seemed interested. 👀 Friday, I sold out of all my worm plushies, all my Roxanne prints and at least 3 or 4 of my fursuit scents! People were literally rushing to my table for fursuit sprays, it was crazy! For the first day in DD sales were really good. I think I made roughly $1.4k just that first day. After DD closed that day I was exhausted. I just went back to the room and did nothing but talk and sew the rabbit suit a bit. Safe to say I didn't do much after that first day, I was just too tired. Bestie was working con ops and left later that night for that. Perma went down at some point as well and when they came back I was literally passing out on the bed while sewing the rabbit suit. So when bestie came in I liteally rolled over he got in bed and we just conked out. Lmao Cut to Saturday, it was calling for snow in Asheville and when I woke up around 9 AM it was doing just that! (I woke up a bit late so I didn't really have much time to enjoy it ;w; ) Apparently while I was asleep the fire alarm went off too (though that happened a few times; It was a hotel malfunction issue). I was running quite late for DD so I quickly put another worm plushie together and headed down to sew the hole up where I had stuffed it. Despite being late everything was good thanks to DD staff, Pinfeathers (my table neighbor) and the other dealers. ^u^ Once I had finished sewing the worm I asked my table helper to put it out on the table and before she even got the worm put out a customer grabbed it from her hands gently and told me they would actually be buying it. (The demand for those worms is crazy scary! >->; ) A bit before that the morning was relatively slow and sales weren't that great but to be fair the fursuit parade was going on at the time so sales dipped a bit for that. Once the parade was over I reminded Worm to drop by and get Hyperlynx and with that the first suit had sold! I was still working on sewing the bunny so I couldn't put it out for sale yet but I was determined to get it done before the end of the con. Two or Corkie's suiters came by and said hi to me! They were super sweet and their suits looked so cute in person!! (Highly recommend her suits!) Later on Uncle Kage set up a table using the empty table in DD for charity stuff, it slowed sales a bit and I believe he was supposed to be out in the hall and not in DD but he was super nice regardless. ^^ I had someone come by later who stood at my booth for a while before deciding they wanted to buy Harley and I was thrilled! They did have a few issues regarding bank stuff but the sale was finalized and they were super happy. it made me happy to see the suit go to someone who loved her so much as I had the suit since BWS 2021 and I just wanted her to go to someone who would appreciate her. 💖 Dealers Den closed for the day and so much more had sold out! It was a really good day and by far my highest grossing day out of all 3 days of the con. When I got back to the hotel room I was starving and ready for the plans me and bestie had made the week prior to the con. It as sushi time! 👀👀👀 Everyone put their orders in and then we headed out to pick it up. The hotel parking lot was packed and people who left their spots rarely got them back so bestie and my table helper stood in our parking spot until we got back while me and Perma headed down to Green Tea Sushi (the little sushi place we passed on the way in!). Because of the snow earlier in the morning it was COLD outside. The snow had already melted but the windchill was insane and literally every car had icicles hanging from them. We could barely even get our car doors open to get in. I swear it was colder in the car than it was outside. Bestie said hoes don't get cold so he and my helper agreed it was best to stand there and wait for us. It took use maybe a minute to get down there and when we walked in it was so refreshing. They had a nice little heater by the door and it was so cozy. We let them know about our order and then waited patiently. It took roughly 5 to 10 minutes and we got the food and left. As you can imagine with a fur con near by there were a LOT of furries in there. When we got back we went inside, up the stairs and to our room. We finally got to sit down, distributed food and watched TV while we ate, talking occasionally. The food was amazing! Highly recommend Green Tea Sushi in Asheville, NC After bestie finished eating he had to zoom to con ops so that just left me, Perma and my table helper. We talked for a bit but Perma had to zoom too and help a friend. I had plans to go down and fursuit that night after my sushi settled but I ended up passing out for a little bit. When I woke up I got in suit and headed down to the con floor. I only suited for about an hour but I had a blast! I got photos with so many suiters and even met Baxter again. ^u^ It's always a joy to meet and chat with Baxter and their partner. :3 Once I got back to the room I was literally so tired. I barely got out of fursuit before I flopped down on the bed. It wasn't long after and Perma came back, bestie following shortly after. We ended up watching King of the Hill for a bit that night and I stayed up till about 5 AM or so working on Vanessa the rabbit suit. The wind that night was super crazy. You could hear it bashing against the sliding glass doors so wildly. If I remember correctly there was a wind advisory that night and winds were reaching around 60 to 80 MPH. Sunday morning came and I was too tired to exist. After staying up so late I was incredibly tired since I had to get up around 10 AM. Dealers Den opened then but I was just too tired to get up any earlier. I grabbed all the things for the rabbit suit and headed down about an hour late or so to work on it and man my table. I ended up finishing the suit with 2 hours of DD left so I headed up to the hotel room to have bestie take a few photos of me wearing the suit. When I got there he was super tired but he got up and took a few photos for me all while giving me a death stare (I know he was tired so I'm not mad I thought it was kind of funny lol). After the rabbit sold things got slow for a bit again so I had my table helper watch my table briefly while I ran back up to the hotel room to use the bathroom and grab a few things. I had to run back down though not longer after as I had someone interested in a pair of hooves so I wanted to get down and make my last few sales before Dealers Den closed. We closed up around 3 or 4 PM I believe and I made record sales! The best of any con I've done so far and triple that of BWS 2021. (I feel it's entirely necessary that I'm honest about my sales so that others know what can be made at events like this!) Final sales count before taxes was $9.1k! I talked to lots of the other dealers and they seemed to have done well too. I was tipped off and noticed that quite a few people were looking for bunny merch/items quite ravenously so I fully intend to make some new merch that is bunny/rabbit related. I had a lot of old merch I need to phase out anyway so it works out! ^w^ Took about an hour to tear my set up down and pack it up into the car. After getting everything packed up and being as sleep deprived as I was I went up to the hotel room order a bit of food, ate, and went to sleep for a bit. I ended up waking up around 10 or 11 PM and started getting everything else packed up and put into the car. We all said our good byes to Perma finished jenga-ing everything into the car and them we got ourselves in the car to leave. bestie sat in the passenger seat this time and gave directions home while my table helper (and now ex) sat in the back behind me and slept. We got back pretty late (Like 2AM ish) and got to see our beautiful little chicken again. Me and bestie were delighted to see him and it was honestly the best part of getting back home. My table helper/ex went back home as well as she had her car at my place and me and bestie went to sleep at my place. I took bestie home the next day, un-jenga-ed my car a few days later and then literally took a break from working for like a month after the con. XnX This con was literally such a blast and I'm super grateful to everyone who stopped by to see me and buy something. Thank you to everyone who came back and gave compliments regarding my fursuit sprays and to those who chatted with me, took photos with me, etc. You all my my con an absolute blast! 💖 Next convention will be Furry Takeover in Fontana Dam, NC! If you wanna take a look at past conventions, my table set ups and upcoming conventions you can check out my Conventions Page! ^u^ A small highlight from the con was seeing my art again for banners and stuff! It's always so cool to see the work I do for NCAS at their events. If you wanna join staff you can always check positions here. If you wanna volunteer for their cons be sure to check the respective con websites for info!
BRFF Website BWS Website Those mentioned: Perma Baxter Bestie (Katsu) Corkie (Artzora Studios) This is the first con I've done since BRFF 2020 so I had planned for it quite a bit and started prepping quite early though I still didn't finish up most of my prep before the con. ^^; I applied for my table back in May (2021) and I was sent an acceptance email sometime in July (2021). I immediately signed the vendor contract got all my info completed and sent in, then I was officially a confirmed vendor! I finished up most of my remaining con prep leading up to the con and as it slowly approached I finished up what I could and started packing. On the night of Wednesday November 11th I started getting everything in the car. Me and my two table helpers left for Raleigh around 12:40 AM EST on Thursday the 12th as we had about a 2 and a half hour drive ahead of us. The ride down was fairly smooth, minus me taking one wrong exit making the trip 3 hours ;w; but otherwise things went well. We arrived and didn't have too many issue with checking in but the parking lot was almost packed!! (and it was only the day before the con at 3 AM EST) It took us nearly 2 hours to get everything unpacked from my little Jeep and into our room. We had a very nice little room on the second floor in the far corner of the hotel. because of the weird structure of the hotel we even had a weird little hallway. lol By the time we finally settled in and got everything unpacked it was roughly 5 AM EST or so, so I just sat around and watched tiktoks for a little bit while I winded down from such a long drive. (It was a bit spooky for me having never went that far) (Below are some pictures of the inside of the room at the Marriott at Research Triangle Park in Durham, NC) After a pretty restful sleep we ordered some breakfast, ate and just chilled for a bit until it was time to head down and get ready to vend for the first day. Opening ceremonies started at 12 PM and I believe Dealers Den opened around the same time so it was slow for a bit while opening ceremonies were going on. After they ended though I was FLOODED with people at my table! Me and my table helper were literally struggling to keep up with the flow of people. ;w; For a small first year con I did incredibly well!! First day I believe I made my table and hotel + travel costs back, It was crazy!! After such an eventful first day I had to take a small break in the hotel room for a bit. The dealers room was open from 12 PM to 6 PM the first day so I had to rest for the next day since the Dealers room would be open for a bit longer. I did however decided to head down to the con floor and explore the hotel a bit with my fursuit handler/GF and she got some pretty nice photos of me. Some of these are my absolute favorite of Bee 2.0, granted they are some of the first of Bee 2.0 since I finished her up shortly before the con. After suiting I was absolutely exhausted so I headed back to the hotel room, took a shower and worked on finishing up a few more bappy paws to sell at my table before passing out. I woke up the next morning incredibly exhausted but ready to sell. I don't quite remember if I had time for breakfast but regardless we headed down to get the table ready. Albeit a bit late (10 minutes before DD opened). Saturday was a bit slower and as we got further into the afternoon the attendees coming in started to slow down. Sales weren't nearly as crazy as Friday was but I was just super happy to be selling at the con and getting a chance to rest a little. After selling for 8 hours I was exhausted, but feeling a bit better than I was on Friday. I took a small breather that night and just chilled in the hotel room. Though we didn't have a great view it wasn't an awful one either. I did end up going down and getting a few more photos with a few suiters and peeps so that was super fun and wholesome! I went down pretty much by myself Saturday so I didn't do anything too crazy. My favorite thing about suiting as Bee though were all the comments on my absolutely MASSIVE tail. >:3c A little girl at one point even asked to pet my tail and asked if she could pick it up (Of course I said yes) , she struggled a bit cause of how heavy it is but it was absolutely precious! 🥺💖 I probably ended up suiting for roughly 4 hours or more that night. I was absolutely dripping with sweat by the time I was done, but the nice cool air at night in the courtyard and the AC unit in our room did wonders to help me cool down. After I got back to the hotel room I, as per usual, cooled off, took a shower and went to bed. (Though I didn't get much sleep because my bestie kept making noises in his sleep oop) The following morning me and bestie rushed down to the Dealers Den to get ready, this time being quite late since I didn't get much sleep the previous night. Being Sunday everything was quite slow and not many people stopped in to buy anything so I didn't have a whole lot to do. I processed a few transactions here and there but I mostly sat around and talked to my bestie (who was also one of my table helpers). I did end up commissioning one of the other dealers, Chowfur, for two absolutely precious crayon sketch badges of Bee and Celeste, they turned out so cute too!! (Chowfur's Twitter) After Dealers Den closed me and my table helpers tore down my set up, packed it up and headed back to the hotel room for a quick rest and some food. We ordered some Golden Coral and I also had a Hot Pocket. :3
After eating we packed the car up and headed back to the hotel room to chill before we would make our journey back toward the Piedmont of NC. Since I didn't have much sleep the night before I didn't really suit on Sunday and instead I laid down and went to sleep for a while after eating and packing the car so I'd be rested up and ready to head out at 12 AM that night. We did end up leaving a bit early since I woke up a bit early and figured it would be good to get an early start to get back a little earlier. The drive back was a lot faster but after such an eventful weekend the drive back was incredibly tiring. I took bestie home first then headed home with my GF and settled down for some much needed rest. (the time was roughly 3 AM EST when we returned.) Overall I had an absolutely amazing time! I obviously couldn't fit every little detail in here but it was an incredibly fun trip and a great first long con drive for me lol As a first year con Bewhiskered ended up having 378 Attendees (roughly though I believe it was pretty close to 400) and they raised $6243 USD for the charity Safe Haven for Cats. It was the best con I've ever done as I made around 3.2k for the entire weekend so I couldn't be more happy with how things went. I even gained some nice suggestions for my line of fursuit sprays and quite a few nice compliments. I'm super pleased with how well the con did and I can't wait for next year! 💖 Next con will be Blue Ridge Furfare in 2022 in Asheville! |
